Is the CEO and Founder of Via Metrics, LLC, a firm dedicated to providing data-driven projections and solutions for affordable housing and mixed-use, retail real estate. With over 20 years of retail-specific experience, she has guided transformational, commercial initiatives at the site, city, and county levels across the country. From her work the DC Office of Planning, Heather authored the Vibrant Streets Toolkit. Several professional journals have published her articles on planning and building for the evolution of American retail. In addition to her “day job”, Heather teaches Foundations of Real Estate Markets at Georgetown University. She holds a Bachelor of Architectural History from the University of Virginia and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Cornell University.
